GATE 2025: Notification, Exam Date,

- Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee is organizing the GATE Exam 2025. The IIT Roorkee has released the online registration dates on the official website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- Candidates who have passed or appearing in the final year of graduation with engineering, Science, commerce, humanities, and art stream can appear in the GATE 2025 exam.
- GATE 2025 registration process will open from 24th August to 26th September 2024. As already notified, the GATE 2025 Exam will be conducted on 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th February 2025. Refer to the article to know more about the GATE 2025 Exam.
GATE 2025: GATE is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, it is a national-level examination. The purpose of the GATE exam is to get admission into master’s degree courses like IIT and there are some top-rank jobs in Indian Govt organizations based on GATE papers. The aspirants should check their eligibility for the GATE exam and then prepare for the GATE 2025 exam.

GATE 2025 Educational Qualification:
Candidates who are currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program or who have completed any government approved degree program in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Humanities are eligible to appear for GATE 2025

There is no age limit for appearing in the GATE 2025 exam. The candidates who want admission for Master's degree of require GATE qualified for any PSU recruitments.
GATE 2025 Application Fees:
- Candidates will be able to pay registration fee through online mode.
- Debit card/ credit card/ net banking/ Wallet/ UPI will be the online payment gateways.
- Candidates must remember that fee will be non-refundable (except when two paper combination is removed by the authority) & non-transferable.

GATE 2025 Exam Pattern:
- The GATE 2025 exam will be of duration of 03 hours.
- The GATE 2024 exam will have three types of questions: MCQs/Multiple Choice Questions, MSQs/Multiple Select Questions, and NAT/Numerical Answer Type Questions.
- The GATE exam for all 30 subjects will have a section named General Aptitude, In this section there will be 15 marks questions common to all papers.
- The GATE exam will have negative marking as follows: 1/3 marks will be subtracted for incorrect answers to 1-mark questions, and 2/3 marks will be subtracted for incorrect answers to 2-mark questions.
- MSQs and NAT questions will not have negative marks in the GATE 2025 exam.
- The total marks for the GATE 2025 is 100 marks.
- General Aptitude questions will be of 15 marks
- Engineering Mathematics questions will be of 13 marks
- Selected Subject questions will be of 72 marks
- For non-engineering subjects, the Selected Subject questions will be of 85 marks

Follow these steps to apply for the GATE 2025.
- Visit the GATE 2025 Official Website gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- Click on the GATE 2025 Application Form/ Apply Online Link
- Duly Fill up the Application Form
- Upload the required documents, Photograph, Signature, etc.
- Submit the GATE 2025 Application Form and take a printout of it.
